Description:
Transparent brown liquid with a specific odor.
Structure:
Tar extract in terms of native – 2%.
Excipients: ethyl acetate, film-forming polymers, ethyl alcohol.
Pharmacological properties:
The components of the tar, which are part of the drug, act antiseptically, anti-inflammatory, wound-healing (stimulate the regeneration of the epidermis and keratinization) and antiparasitic. When applied to the skin, their effect occurs locally in the upper layers of the epidermis, horn formations (hooves, claws) above which an elastic waterproof film is formed. It significantly enhances the effect of the components of the tar and accelerates the healing process of skin lesions of various etiologies. The film peels off on its own after 1-3 days.
Application:
Treatment of animals and birds of various species for diseases of the hooves (decay of the horny frog) and claws; after their trimming, pruning and other surgical interventions; skin damage of various etiologies; dermatomycosis; wounds in pigs and poultry caused by cannibalism; psoroptosis in rabbits.
Dosage:
Apply to the skin after sanitizing, holding the bottle vertically, press the spray head several times from a distance of 15-20 cm until the area is completely wetted once every 1-3 days, after which the animals should not lick the drug for 3-5 minutes. The duration of treatment is determined by the severity of the lesion and the speed of recovery processes and is 3-7 days.
With psoroptosis of rabbits, the affected areas of the body and the inner surface of the auricles are treated twice with an interval of 8-12 days.
Shake the bottle before use, do not allow the drug to get into the eyes of animals.
Contraindications:
The presence of weeping eczema, open wounds in animals; hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Caveats:
When treating cats, the drug should be applied in places inaccessible for licking; milk and meat of processed animals are used without restrictions.
Do not spray near an open flame, the contents of the bottle are flammable.
