Suiferovit, 100ml – Poland
Composition: Inactivated normal pig blood serum with the addition of the following components per 100 ml:
iron dextran (700 mg of active iron);
copper chloride – 2.707 mg;
cobalt chloride – 0.266 mg;
vitamin B1 – 3 mg;
vitamin B2 – 1.14 mg;
vitamin B6 – 0.28 mg;
nicotinic acid – 42.84 mg;
calcium pantothenate – 1.6 mg.
Action: The content of blood proteins homologous to pigs, especially gamma globulin, as well as the presence of many heterogeneous antibodies, protects animals from hypo- and agamma globulinemia and contributes to the appearance of passive immunity. Assimilated iron stimulates the synthesis of hemoglobin by the hematopoietic system, increases the number of red blood cells, replenishes iron deficiency, and increases body weight gain. Trace elements and vitamins regulate metabolism and compensate for the deficiencies of these components in the feed.
Indications: Piglet anemia, edema, developmental disorders, metabolic diseases, hypo- and agamma-globulinemia, weaning-related diseases of piglets (diarrhea, flu, skin diseases, lack of appetite, etc.), as well as other painful conditions resulting in impaired function of the hematopoietic organs.
Notes and doses: The drug is used prophylactically and therapeutically in doses: newborn piglets – 5 ml subcutaneously with repetition in 7 – 10 days.
Newborn piglets should be injected with the drug several hours after birth.
For older piglets (1 – 2 months), the drug is injected intramuscularly or subcutaneously twice with an interval of 7-10 days at a dose of 10 – 20 ml per animal.
