Description
Ointment from light yellow to yellow.

Stock
1 g of the drug contains active substances:

salicylic acid – 50 mg;

sulfur – 100 mg.

Excipients: lanolin, vaseline.

Pharmacological properties
The ointment has antimicrobial, astringent, anti-inflammatory, keratolytic and antiseptic effects, which are due to the content of salicylic acid and sulfur. Salicylic acid has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and keratoplastic effects; inhibits the secretion of sebaceous and sweat glands. Sulfur has a weak antimicrobial, astringent, adsorbing effect, dries the skin, which reduces exudation and helps reduce local manifestations of inflammation and irritation.

Application
Treatment of farm and domestic animals (cattle, horses, goats, sheep, dogs) for trichophytia, eczema, dermatitis and other skin diseases.

Dosage
The ointment is applied 1-2 times a day in a thin layer on the affected area cleansed of dirt and exudate residues. Treatment is carried out until the clinical effect.

Contraindication
Acute purulent processes.

Reservation
When applied to the skin may cause irritation.

Ointment is incompatible with alkalis.
