Structure:
1 ml of the drug contains active ingredients (mg):
vitamin E – 50.0;
selenium (in the form of sodium selenite) – 0.5.
Pharmacological properties:
Selenvit-E compensates for the lack of vitamin E and selenium in the body of animals.
Vitamin E regulates redox processes, the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats, enhances the effect of vitamins A and D3, improves the body’s immunity. The biological role of selenium is related to its antioxidant properties. It promotes the elimination of toxic substances from the body, the absorption of oxygen by cells, and an increase in immunity.
Application:
The drug is used for the prevention and treatment of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats, fur-bearing animals and chickens for diseases caused by a lack of vitamin E and selenium (white muscle disease, traumatic myositis, cardiopathy, toxic liver dystrophy); in case of stress, impaired reproduction and fetal development, growth retardation, insufficient body weight gain, infectious and invasive diseases, preventive vaccinations and deworming, poisoning with nitrates, heavy metals, mycotoxins.
Dosage:
For prophylactic purposes, the drug is administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously to animals (horses only intramuscularly) once in a dose:
cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs (adult animals) – 1 ml of the drug per 50 kg of body weight;
young farm animals – 0.2 ml of the drug per 10 kg of body weight;
dogs, cats, fur animals – 0.04 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight.
For therapeutic purposes, the drug is administered to animals intramuscularly or subcutaneously (for horses only intramuscularly) once in a dose:
cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs (adult animals) – 1 ml of the drug per 30 kg of body weight;
young farm animals – 0.3 ml of the drug per 10 kg of body weight;
dogs, cats, fur animals – 0.05 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight.
If necessary, the injection of the drug is repeated after 2-3 weeks in the same doses.
For the prevention of obstetric and gynecological diseases in pregnant cows, the drug is administered twice: 3-4 weeks before calving and after childbirth. For pregnant sows, the drug is used for 1.5-2 months before farrowing.
For the convenience of injecting small volumes of the drug, it can be diluted with sterile water or saline and mixed thoroughly.
For the treatment of poultry, the drug is used 2-3 times with an interval of 1-2 weeks with drinking water at a dilution of 1: 100 (1 part of the drug per 99 parts of water) in the calculation – 1 ml of the drug per 1 kg of body weight or 2 ml per 1 liter of drinking water …
For prophylactic purposes, chickens, starting from one day old, use the drug in the same doses once every 2-3 weeks, young animals, starting from 30 days old, and an adult bird – once a month.

sheep, goats 2.5;
lambs, kids 1.0-2.0;
pigs 4.0;
piglets 0.5-2.0.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the drug, excessive selenium content in the body or feed.
Warning:
With a single dose of more than 10 ml, the drug is divided and injected into different places.
Use with caution in pregnant animals.
Withdrawal period (withdrawal):
Animal products can be used for human consumption without restriction, except for the liver, which can be used seven days after the last use of the drug. Until the specified time, the liver is disposed of or fed to unproductive animals according to the conclusion of a veterinary doctor.
