Pharmacological properties
Bactericidal drug with a broad spectrum of action.
Amoxicillin trihydrate – a semi-synthetic penicillin, belongs to beta-lactam antibiotics, inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell walls by inhibiting transpeptidase and carboxypeptidase, which causes a violation of osmotic pressure and the death of microorganisms in the developmental stage. It is destroyed by beta-lactamases, which are biosynthesized by a size of resistant bacteria, as a result of which the spectrum of activity of drugs based on amoxicillin alone is significantly narrowed.
Potassium clavulanate is a beta-lactam structurally related to penicillins, has little antibacterial activity, but, irreversibly inhibiting a size of beta-lactamases, prevents inactivation of amoxicillin and provides its antibiotic activity against bacteria, usually resistant to other amoxicillin-resistant amoxicillin.
Both components are absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, regardless of the time of consumption and quality of food and penetrate into all organs and tissues of the body. Antibacterial concentrations persist for 12 hours, excreted mainly by the kidneys.
Indication
Treatment of poultry (broiler chickens, broiler chickens, breeding chickens), pigs, dogs, cats with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues caused by gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including beta-producing species -lactamases, namely: aerobes Bacillus anthracis, Escherichia coli, Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Enterobacter spp., Haemophilus spp., Klebsiella spp., Moraxella spper., Campylo. ., Bordetella spp., Brucella spp., Pasteurella spp., Proteus spp., Salmonella spp., Yersinia spp., Actinobacillus spp., Anaerobes Clostridium spp., Fusobacterium spp., As well as Chlamydia spp., Leptospira spp. spp. etc.
Contraindication
Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to penicillins and severe renal impairment. Do not use in horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, small herbivores, or laying hens whose eggs are eaten by humans.
Do not use simultaneously with chloramphenicol, lincosamides, tetracyclines, macrolides, sulfonamides.
