Pharmacological properties
Fenbendazole belongs to the group of benzimidazoles. Destroys the microtubules of digestive cells and causes a neurotoxic effect in helminths. It has a detrimental effect on the larvae of various stages and disrupts the integrity of the shells of helminth eggs, after which they are unable to develop further.
APPLICATION
Method of application and dosage
Before use, the drug is mixed with food and given during morning feeding.

For fish prepare the following therapeutic-feed mixture (LKS): 0.25 kg of the drug is thoroughly mixed with 99.75 kg of feed and granulated. The therapeutic daily dose of LKS for the reservoir is 5% of the estimated weight of the fish. The daily dose is divided into 3-4 portions and applied to the place of feeding every 2 hours during the day, the course of treatment – 2 days. Other foods are not used these days. If the fish has not been fed compound feed before, it is necessary to accustom the fish to both compound feed and feeding places before treatment.
Reservation
After the last application of the drug, slaughter of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs for meat is allowed in 10 days, poultry – in 3 days. People can eat liver, lungs, heart of animals in 20 days, milk – in 2 days, fish – in 10 days.
Indication
Treatment of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, carnivores and fur-bearing animals, chickens, geese when infected with mature and immature forms of nematodes, some types of cestodes and trematodes and their eggs. Treatment of fish of the carp family with botryocephalus.
Contraindication
Do not use simultaneously with antifasciological drugs, as well as for 7 days after treatment with bromsalanes.
