The solution is colorless or light yellow, transparent.
Pharmacological properties
Eprinomectin belongs to macrocyclic lactones. As an endectocide, it has a wide spectrum of antiparasitic action against imaginal and larval phases of development of gastrointestinal nematodes — Bunostomum phlebotomum, Cooperia spp., Haemonchus placei, Nematodirus helvetianus, Oesophagostomum spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Trichocephalus spp., Trichuris spp., nematode respiratory organs — Dictyocaulus viviparus, ixodid ticks — Rhipicephalus spp., sarcoptic ticks — Sarcoptes bovis, gizzard larvae — Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum, lice — Haematopinus eurysternus, Linognathus vituli, Solenopotes capillatus, blood-sucking dipterous insects — Haematobia irritans and some other agricultural parasites animals
Eprinomectin, like all macrocyclic lactones, acts as an agonist of the neurotransmitter GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) in nerve cells and also binds to chloride ion channels that contain glutamate in nerve and muscle cells of invertebrates. This leads to paralysis of parasites and their removal from the body or death due to the inability to feed. It also affects the reproduction of some parasites, disrupting the oogenesis and egg-laying processes.
When eprinomectin is administered subcutaneously to cattle, its bioavailability is 89%. The maximum concentration in the blood is reached after 36-48 hours and is equal to about 58 μg/l, the half-life is 65-75 hours. Up to 99% of eprinomectin binds to blood serum proteins and is excreted from the body mainly with feces, partially with urine.
Indication
Treatment and prevention of nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract and lungs and ectoparasitosis in cattle , which are caused by ixodid and scabies ticks, hypodermic larvae, lice, fleas and blood-sucking flies.
Contraindication
Do not use in animals with increased sensitivity to the active substance of the drug, calves under 4 months of age.
Method of application and dosage
The drug is injected subcutaneously at a dose of 1 ml per 100 kg of body weight (this is equivalent to 0.2 mg of eprinomectin per 1 kg of body weight), once.
For the prevention of nematodes in animals, the drug is used in the fall before putting them in stables and in the spring before turning the animals out to pasture. In order to neutralize the larvae of hypodermic gizzards – after the end of the flight of gizzards, but no later than November, and for arachno-entomoses – according to the indications.

Reservation
When using the group method, each batch of the drug is tested on 7-10 animals. In the absence of complications, the entire livestock is processed within three days.
When used in recommended doses, side effects are usually not observed. In some cases, on the second day after administration of the drug, swelling and thickening of the subcutaneous tissue may occur at the injection site, which usually resolve without special treatment within 6 days.
After the last use of the drug, animals can be slaughtered for meat after 63 days. Meat obtained before the specified term is disposed of or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the opinion of the veterinarian. Milk can be consumed without restrictions.
Personnel who come into contact with the drug must follow the rules of hygiene and safety adopted when working with veterinary drugs.
Storage conditions
In a dry, dark place inaccessible to children at temperatures from +5 to +25 °C.
After opening the bottle, store the drug tightly closed and use within 30 days.
