Pharmacological properties:
ATCvet code QP52AC – benzimidazoles and their derivatives, QP52AC12 – fenbendazole.
The active ingredient – fenbendazole (a group of benzimidazoles) inhibits the polymerization of tubulin proteins into microtubulins, reduces the activity of energy enzymes, slows down the metabolism in helminths, as a result of which the absorption of nutrients (adenosine triphosphoric acid and glucose) is impaired, mitochondrial reactions decrease, complete depletion and paralysis of parasites occurs.
Phenzene 22% is practically non-toxic to animals, embryotoxic and teratogenic properties have not been established.
It has an ovocidal effect. Effective against gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, in an increased dose against trematodes and cestodes of animals.
Application:

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to fenbendazole.
Not recommended for pregnant female dogs (bitches) and sows, as well as bitches during lactation.
Caveats:
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed after 10 days, poultry – after 3 days, and milk can be eaten by people – 2 days after deworming.
In case of slaughter before the deadline, the meat is fed to carnivores or processed into meat and bone meal.
