Phytoelita Cytostat for cats and dogs, 50 tablets

Phytoelita “Cytostat” is a herbal medicine for the prevention of malignant neoplasms of the mammary gland in cats and dogs. It is used in the postoperative period as a cytostatic agent in cats and dogs, as well as for the prevention of false breasts in dogs.

General information:

1.  Dosage form :  tablets for oral administration.
One tablet weighing 0.2 g contains as active ingredients – extracts from plant materials: broccoli sprouts, chaga, oregano herb, field horsetail herb, burdock herb, shepherd’s purse herb, immortelle flowers, real bedstraw herb, celandine herb , nettle leaves, birch leaves, narrow-leaved fireweed (ivan-tea) herb, St. John’s wort, echinacea purpurea herb, comfrey root, meadowsweet flowers, herb lemon balm, burdock roots, meadow clover flowers (red), licorice roots and rhizomes, marigold flowers, rhizomes and burnet root – 7.68 mg, with an amine nitrogen content of at least 0.1 μg, and as auxiliary substances: calcium stearate, starch, lactose – in an amount sufficient to obtain a tablet weighing 0.2 g.

2. The  medicinal product is a white to light yellow biconvex tablet. Blotches and slight marbling are allowed. The drug is produced packaged in 50 tablets in polymer cans with screw caps with first opening control or food-grade polyethylene bags, placed together with instructions for use in a box made of cardboard box.

3.  Phytoelite “Cytostat” is stored in closed manufacturer’s packaging, in places inaccessible to children, separately from food and feed, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight at temperatures from 0 ° C to 25 ° C.

4 . The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 1 year from the date of production. Do not use the drug after the expiration date. Dispose of unused medicinal product.

Pharmacological properties: 
5.  The mechanism of action of the drug: it is determined by the phytotherapeutic activity of biologically active substances of extracts from plant raw materials.

Main active ingredients: Chaga pterins have a cytostatic effect, delay the initial stages of the tumor process. Echinacea polysaccharides have immunostimulating activity in functional immunodeficiency. The active ingredient of burdock – lignan aglycone of arktigenin has antitumor activity against tumors and metastases of the mammary gland. The indoles (diindolylmethane) of broccoli stimulate the body to burn those forms of estrogen that contribute to breast cancer; inhibit the growth, division and reproduction of breast cancer cells. Diindolylmethane increases the level of a specific protein that kills cancer cells and decreases the level of the protein that maintains their vitality. Hanerol fireweed has a broad anticancer effect, including in breast cancer. Oregano contains selenium (50 μg / g), which is part of the factor, preventing necrotic processes in the cells of the body. The phenolcarboxylic acids of lemon balm and oregano – thymol, carvacrol, have adaptogenic properties that reduce sexual arousal. The active ingredients of the remaining components have a synergistic and symptomatic effect (adaptogenic, antioxidant, antitoxic).

6.  Phytoelite “Cytostat” – according to the degree of impact on the body, it belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), does not possess cumulative, embryotoxic and teratogenic properties.

7.  Applied to dogs and cats for the prevention of malignant neoplasms of the mammary gland and in the postoperative period as a cytostatic, adaptogenic, antioxidant, antitoxic agent, as well as for the prevention of false breasts in dogs.
8.  For the prevention of breast neoplasms in dogs, the drug is prescribed monthly, 1 tablet per 10 kg of animal weight, in cats, 1 tablet 3 times a day for 7 days.
For dogs, with a malignant tumor of the mammary gland up to 1 cm in size, the drug is used in courses of 1 tablet per 10 kg of animal weight, for cats – 1 tablet for 5-7 days once every 3-4 months in order to prevent its growth and development. In the postoperative period, the drug is prescribed to dogs 1 tablet per 10 kg of animal weight, to cats 1 tablet 2 times a day for 3-4 months.
In the presence of a growing benign breast tumor, the drug is used in the preoperative period for 3-4 days for dogs, 1 tablet per 10 kg of animal weight, for cats – 1 tablet 3 times a day. After the operation, the drug is used for 10-12 days for dogs, 1 tablet per 10 kg of animal weight, for cats – 1 tablet per day.
To prevent false breasts, the drug should be given to bitches from the onset of estrus to the anestrus phase (up to 21 days), 1 tablet per 10 kg of animal weight, 1-3 times a day. It is also a preventive measure in relation to the development of breast tumors.
After using the drug, chills are sometimes noted in animals. The temperature may rise in rare cases. These reactions are a physiologically adequate response of the body to its impact.
9. A  contraindication to the use of a medicinal product is an individual hypersensitivity to its components.
10.  Overdose symptoms were not identified.
11. The  peculiarities of the action of the drug at the first dose or at its withdrawal have not been established.
12.  If one or more doses of the drug are missed, treatment should be resumed as soon as possible in the prescribed dosage and regimen.
13.  As a rule, side effects and complications when using the drug in accordance with the instructions are not observed. With increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug and the appearance of adverse reactions, its use is discontinued and desensitizing or symptomatic therapy is carried out.
14.  There is no information about the incompatibility of the drug with other drugs.
15.  The drug is not intended for use by productive animals.

Personal precautions:  when working with medicinal products, you should follow the general rules of personal hygiene and safety. After use, wash your hands with warm water and soap. People with hypersensitivity to its components should avoid direct contact with the drug. Empty jars, packages and from under the medicinal product must not be used for domestic purposes, they must be disposed of.
