Instructions for use of the drug ATROPINUM compositum, 5 ml

Atropinum compositum ad us. vet.
Homeopathic medicine for use in veterinary medicine.
Composition:
1 ampoule 5 ml. contains: Atropinum sulfuricum D4 0.5 ml .; Cuprum acetikum D40.1ml .; Colocinthis D4 0.1 ml .; Veratrum album D4 0.1 ml .; Acidum arsenicosum D6 0.1 ml .; Lyttа vesicatoria D6 0.1 ml .; Bryonia cretica D4 0.1 ml.
Indications:
Spasms of hollow muscle organs with colic, biliary colic, renal colic, as well as spastic conditions of the urinary tract and uterus. Spasms of bronchial muscles in chronic diseases of the respiratory tract. General intoxication, inflammation of the mucous membranes. It is used for some forms of epilepsy.
Contraindications: glaucoma, bladder atony, prostate adenoma, mechanical coprostasis, megacolon, tachyarrhythmia.
Side effects: None known. In rare cases, increased thirst is possible.
Interaction with other drugs: no peculiarities.
Waiting period for effect: none.
Brief description of the individual components:
Atropinum sulfuricum
catarrhal inflammation of the upper respiratory tract. Inflammatory diseases of the excretory organs.
Cuprum aceticum
tendency to convulsions; asthma; spasms of smooth muscles.
Colocinthis
painful spasms of the gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, urinary tract.
Veratrum album
increasing circulatory failure in infections. Aggressive tendency.
Acidum arsenicosum
inflammatory processes of varying severity and in different organs and tissues. Severe infections.
Lytta vesicatoria (Cantharis)
acute inflammation of the mucous membranes of the genitourinary system, gastrointestinal tract.
Bryonia cretica
acute inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, pleura, peritoneum, liver.
Duration and method of application:
Introduced s / c., I / v.
In accordance with the size of the animal, a single dose is:
For sports horses – 5.0-10.0 ml.
Large dogs – 3.0 – 4.0 ml.
Medium dogs – 2.0 ml.
Small dogs, cats – 1.0 – 2.0 ml.
Puppies, kittens – 0.5 – 1.0 ml.
In acute cases, repeat the dose after 6 hours.
ORAL (in the form of drinking ampoules):
Sport horses:
– adults – 20-30 drops;
– foals – 15-20 drops;
Dogs:
– adults – 7-12 drops;
– newborn puppies – 5 drops;
– weaned from the mother – 7 drops.
Cats:
– adults – 7 drops;
– newborn kittens – 5 drops;
– weaned from the mother – 7 drops.
Birds of cage content: 1.0 ml. diluted in 10.0 ml. drinking water.
Rodents: 2 drops.
Release form and packaging: 5 and 50 ampoules of 5 ml.

Additional Information.
The famacological effect is based on a combination of various components that affect both the symptoms and the general condition with the formation of stones, general intoxication. The drug also has a specific effect on organ systems. For example, the renal system is affected by Acidum arsenicosum, the gallbladder system Atropinum sulfuricum; for colic, Cuprum aceticum and Atropinum sulfuricum act. Catarrh and inflammation of the mucous membranes are cured by Acidum arsenicosum and Bryonia cretica.
Alternately with this drug, Mucose compositum (colic of the kidneys and gallbladder) can be prescribed; Helidonium-Gomaccord, Carduus compositum (with cholangitis and cholecystitis); Nux vomica-Homaccord, Veratrum-Homaccord (with intestinal colic).
The greatest effect is observed when Atropinum compositum is used together with Traumeel, Berberis-Gomaccord, Kantaris compositum for urolithiasis in cats.
