Description:
Transparent oily liquid from light yellow to dark yellow in color with a specific odor of the constituent components
Composition:
1 ml of the drug contains active ingredients:
- vitamin A (retinol acetate) – 30,000 IU;
- vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) – 40,000 IU;
- vitamin E (α-tocopherol acetate) – 20 mg;
- vitamin F (linetol) – 5mg;
Pharmacological properties:
The effect of the drug is due to the properties of vitamins A, D3, E, F, which are part of its composition.
Vitamin A participates in redox processes and supports the normal functioning of mucous membranes and organs of vision.
Vitamin D3 has a positive effect on the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in the body.
Vitamin E participates in the metabolism of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, prevents the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids, and stimulates spermiogenesis and embryo development.
Vitamin F participates in lipid metabolism, promotes the conversion of cholesterol into a soluble form, and increases capillary resistance and blood vessel elasticity.
Application:
Treatment and prevention of A and D3-hypovitaminosis (rickets) of farm and small domestic animals, alimentary and secondary osteodystrophy, postpartum hypocalcemia and hypophosphatemia, pre- and postpartum lethargy, alimentary dystrophy, bronchitis and bronchopneumonia, retained placenta, uterine subinvolution, endometritis, bone fractures, joint dysplasia. The drug is used for diseases accompanied by impaired absorption and metabolism of vitamins A and D3, calcium and phosphorus (gastroenteritis, hepatodystrophy, hepatitis, ketosis, glomerulonephritis, hypothyroidism, hypoparathyroidism, parakeratosis, Cushing’s syndrome).
To fully provide animals with vitamin A, it is necessary to additionally apply it to animals for preventive purposes once every 7 days, for therapeutic purposes – once every 5 days in doses, thousand IU: cows, respectively, 300-350 and 350-400, young cattle (per 100 kg of body weight) – 70-80 and 80-90, foals – 200 and 400, lactating mares – 250 and 550, foals – 50 and 100, sows in foaling – 80 and 150, lactating sows – 120 and 150-200, piglets – 40 and 60-80, ewes – 25 and 70, lactating ewes – 40 and 80, goats – 30 and 40, chickens – 6 and 9, geese and turkeys – 15-20 and 30.
Dosage:
The drug is administered for prophylactic purposes intramuscularly or subcutaneously once every 7 days, for therapeutic purposes – intramuscularly once every 5 days until recovery (5-8 injections), subsequently (if necessary) the drug is administered in prophylactic doses. When using the drug, the animal’s diet should be balanced in calcium, phosphorus and trace elements.
The doses of the drug are calculated based on vitamin D3.

Side effect:
Not observed in recommended doses. With prolonged use of the drug in high doses, hypervitaminosis may occur.
Contraindication:
Hypervitaminosis A, D3, E.
Use during pregnancy, lactation
The drug is administered to gilt sows 1.5-2 months before farrowing, to pregnant cows – once 3-4 months before calving.
Release form:
Neutral glass vials of the NS-1, NS-2, USP-1 brands are closed with rubber stoppers under aluminum caps, with a volume of 10, 20, 50 and 100 ml.
Storage:
Dry, dark place, inaccessible to children, separate from food products at a temperature of 5 to 25°C.
