Antiseptic Denatured-K, 0.5 l
Denatured alcohol-K is a technical alcohol, to which special substances have been added, excluding its use for food purposes. Antiseptic agent Denatured-K is intended for disinfection and as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory drug in cattle breeding and animal husbandry. It is also used as a disinfectant when treating surfaces that require sterility. Used for processing medical instruments if heat treatment is not possible. For internal use Denatured-K is strictly prohibited. To distinguish it from ordinary alcohol, special dyes (for example, methyl violet) are introduced into it.
Structure
100 ml of the preparation contains: the head fraction of ethyl alcohol – 80 ml of anhydrous alcohol.
Pharmacological properties
The drug has a pronounced antimicrobial and disinfectant effect.
Application
The drug is used in the treatment of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats for bruises, inflammation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, muscle inflammation, as an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, distracting agent, for joints as rubbing; for hand disinfection, for processing the operating field, instruments (if heat treatment is not possible) and for the manufacture of veterinary drugs exclusively for external use.
Dosage
In the shape of:
- compresses;
- rubbed;
- liniment;
as an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, distracting agent for bruises, inflammation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, inflammation of muscles, joints, for disinfection of hands, surgical field, instruments.
Caveats
Poison. Internal use is prohibited.
Storage
Shelf life is 3 years.
