Ivermectin has a pronounced antiparasitic effect on the larval and sexually mature stages of the nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract and lungs, larvae of subcutaneous, nasopharyngeal, gastric gadfly, lice, bloodsuckers, and sarcoptoid mites.
