Composition and pharmacological properties :

The drug as an active ingredient in 1 tablet contains: albendazole – 0.25 g and praziquantel – 0.025 g, as well as auxiliary components.

Indications for use:

Alben C  refers to combined anthelmintic drugs. Possesses a wide spectrum of nematodicidal and cestodicidal action on all phases of development of round and tapeworms parasitizing in dogs and cats.

Contraindications :

Alben S  should not be used by pregnant and lactating females, as well as puppies under 3 weeks of age and kittens under 3 months of age.

Doses and order of administration :

“Alben S” is  administered to dogs and cats once, orally individually at a dose of 1 tablet per 5 kg of animal weight in the morning feeding with a small amount of food. For dogs and cats weighing less than 2.5 kg, 1 tablet of the drug is crushed, suspended in 10 ml of drinking water, shaken vigorously and immediately administered to the animal using a syringe without a needle, at the rate of 1 ml of suspension per 0.5 kg of animal weight. A preliminary fasting diet and the use of laxatives before deworming animals is not required.

For therapeutic purposes, dogs are dewormed according to indications, for prophylactic purposes – on a quarterly basis in a therapeutic dose.

Side effects :

In case of increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the active components of the drug and the appearance of allergic reactions, the use of the drug is discontinued.

Storage :

Store the drug in a place protected from light and moisture, out of reach of children and animals, separately from food and feed, at temperatures from minus 5 ° to plus 25 ° C.

Flat pills with a risk on one side, on the other – a logo (a cross in the center of the shield). The tablets are packed in blister packs of 3 and 6 pieces. The outer packaging is a cardboard box.
