Pharmacological action
The action of the drug is based on the interaction of two anthelmintics – albendazole and triclabendazole. The drug is effective against fasciol at all stages of their development, it is best to use it at an early stage. Along with Fasciola ( Fastiola hepatica, F. gigantica ), dykrotseliyamy ( Dicrocoelium lanceatum ) preparation detrimental effect on all types of contracts Strongylata, parasitic in the digestive tract (families Chabertia, Nematodirus, Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Bunostomum, Haemonchus, Marshallagia, Cooperia ) and respiratory organs (family Dictyocaulidae and Protostrongylidae ), mature cestodes of the genera Moniezia and Trysaniezia and their larval forms (genera Echinococcus granulosus and Echinococcus multilocularis).
Application
For deworming in chronic, subacute and acute forms of fasciolosis in cattle and sheep (sheep, goats). The drug has a detrimental effect on all stages of development of normal liver ( Fastiola hepatica ) and giant ( F. gigantica ) fasciol, as well as active against most species of concomitant nematodes and cestodes.
Dosage
The drug is administered orally with water once in doses:
cattle – 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight;
small cattle (sheep, goats) – 0.75 ml per 10 kg of body weight.
When grazing cattle, preventive and curative deworming is carried out at the beginning of the stall period.
Contraindication
Do not use in females in the first month after fertilization. After using the drug is forbidden to use for food purposes: meat for 14 days, milk – 2 days.
