Pharmacological properties
Antibacterial drug with a broad spectrum of action belongs to the antibiotics of the aminopenicillin group, has a prolonged effect. Blocks the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, inhibits the activity of the enzymes transpeptidase and carboxypeptidase.
It has a bactericidal effect on gram-positive microorganisms – Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Arcanobacterium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Clostridium spp., Bacillus anthracis, Listeria monocytogenes, Erysipelothrix rhusiolaphilitaspathye, Passion. Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Moraxella spp., Fusobacterium spp.
After administration, it is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and distributed to all tissues of the body, almost does not bind to plasma proteins. The maximum concentration in blood is reached within 2-3 hours, therapeutic concentration remains 48-72 hours. The cerebrospinal fluid receives 10-60% of the content in the serum. Excreted unchanged: 10-25% in urine, some with bile and milk.
It is metabolized in the liver to amoxicillin acid and amoxicillin diketopiperazine. In hepatic impairment, the half-life of amoxicillin does not change.
Method of application and dosage
Shake the vial thoroughly before use. The drug is used once, intramuscularly at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight (15 mg of amoxicillin per 1 kg of body weight). If necessary, the injection is repeated after 48 hours.
Injections whose volume exceeds the following values are divided into several parts and injected in different places: for cattle – 20 ml, for pigs – 10 ml, for sheep – 5 ml.

Reservation
After the last application of the drug, slaughter of cattle, sheep, goats for meat is allowed after 16 days, pigs – after 20 days. People can eat milk in 3 days. Meat and milk obtained earlier than this period are disposed of or fed to non-productive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian.
Indication
Treatment of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs, cats with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory organs (pneumonia, bronchitis, tracheitis), genitourinary system (cystitis, metritis, mastitis), skin and soft tissues caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.
Contraindication
Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to penicillins and cephalosporins, with impaired renal function (anuria, oliguria). Do not use intravenously.
Do not prescribe to rabbits, ants, hamsters, chinchillas and other small herbivores, as well as horses (amoxicillin adversely affects the bacterial flora of the cecum), lactating sheep, whose milk is eaten by humans.
Do not use concomitantly with chloramphenicol, lincosamides, tetracyclines, macrolides and sulfonamides, in infections caused by microorganisms that produce beta-lactamases.
Storage conditions
In a dry, dark place, out of reach of children at a temperature of +10 to 25 ° C.
After opening the vial, store the drug in the refrigerator and use for 28 days.
