Pharmacological properties:

Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic belonging to the group of β-lactam antibiotics. Has a wide spectrum of bactericidal action against gram-positive (Actinomyces spp., Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Listeria monocytogenes, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. coli, Salmonella spp., Fusobacterium spp., Haemophilus spp., Moaxella spp., Pasteurella spp., Proteus mirabilis). Does not affect penicillinase-forming strains of microorganisms from the genera Klebsiella and Enterobacter, as well as Pseudomonas. Amoxicillin interferes with the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, inhibiting the enzymes transpeptidase and carboxypeptidase, causing an imbalance in the osmotic balance,
When administered parenterally, amoxicillin is well absorbed into the bloodstream from the injection site and quickly spreads throughout the body, reaching the highest concentration in muscle tissues, liver, kidneys, and the alimentary canal due to its insignificant connection with plasma proteins. After administration, amoxicillin reaches its maximum plasma concentration after 1-2 hours and remains at a therapeutic level for 48 hours.
Amoxicillin is practically not metabolized. It is excreted from the body mainly with urine, as well as with milk and bile.

Application:
Treatment of cattle, pigs, and dogs for diseases of the digestive tract (enteritis, gastroenteritis, gastroenterocolitis, etc.), respiratory organs (bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis, etc.), skin and soft tissues (wounds, abscesses, phlegmon, purulent tissue inflammation area of the finger, etc.) and the genitourinary system (metritis, mastitis, MMA syndrome, etc.), as well as animals with septicemia, omphalophlebitis, arthritis caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin.

Dosage:
Intramuscularly (cattle, pigs) or subcutaneously (dogs) at a dose of 1 ml of the drug per 15 kg of animal body weight, once (10 mg of active ingredient per 1 kg of body weight).
