Amoxicillin suspension for injection
Suspension of white or yellowish color, which stratifies during storage.
1 ml of the drug contains the active ingredient:
amoxicillin trihydrate (based on the basis) – 150 mg.
Excipients: polyvinylpyrrolidone, benzyl alcohol, water for injection.
Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic antibiotic of the penicillin series of bactericidal action, it is active against most gram-negative and gram-positive microorganisms: Escherichia coli, Haemophilus spp., Proteus mirabilis Salmonella spp., Clostridium spp., Bacillcus anthracis, Corynebacterium spp., Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacterium spp., Corynebacterium spp. (except for strains producing β-lactamase), Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Pasteurella spp., Actinobacillus spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Campylobacter spp., Bordetella bronchisepticа, Fusobacterium spp., Moraxella spp. The mechanism of action of the drug consists in disrupting the synthesis of mucopeptide of the bacterial cell wall by inhibiting transpeptidase and carboxypeptidase, which leads to disruption of the osmotic balance and destruction of microorganisms at the developmental stage.
Treatment of cattle, calves, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats with enteritis, metritis, nephritis, cystitis, urethritis, pododermatitis, arthritis, omphalitis, mastitis, atrophic rhinitis, mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome, as well as in diseases respiratory organs, umbilical infections, wounds, abscesses and other diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to amoxicillin. Prevention of postoperative complications and secondary bacterial infections in viral diseases.
Enter once a day in doses:
cattle, calves, sheep, goats, pigs – intramuscularly 1 ml of the drug per 10 kg of animal body weight (15 mg of amoxicillin per 1 kg of animal body weight) for 2-3 days;
dogs, cats – intramuscularly or subcutaneously 1 ml of the drug per 10 kg of animal body weight (15 mg of amoxicillin per 1 kg of animal body weight) for 2 days. If the dose-volume exceeds 20 ml for cattle, 10 ml for pigs, and 5 ml for calves, cats, dogs, goats and sheep, it must be divided and injected into different parts of the animal’s body.
Before use, the bottle with the drug must be shaken until a homogeneous suspension is obtained. After injecting the drug, gently massage the injection site.
Hypersensitivity to antibiotics of the penicillin group.
Do not use on horses, rabbits, chinchillas and guinea pigs.
Do not administer to animals with severe renal impairment.
It is not allowed to use the drug simultaneously with bacteriostatic antibiotics.
For pregnant and lactating animals, the drug is given in cases of emergency.
Slaughter of animals for meat and consumption of milk for human consumption is allowed, respectively, 14 and 3 days after the last use of the drug. The meat and milk obtained before the specified period is disposed of or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the conclusion of a veterinary doctor.
Bottles made of glass, closed with a rubber stopper for aluminum rolling, 10, 50, 100 ml each, disposable syringe 10 ml.
A dry, dark place, out of the reach of children, at a temperature of 5 to 25 ° C.
Shelf life is 2 years. After the first selection from the bottle, use the drug within 5 days, provided it is stored in a dark place at a temperature of 5 to 15 ° C.
