Description

Azinox plus, Universal anthelmintic for dogs, – anthelmintic agent, which includes pyrantel and praziquantel, which have nematodicidal and cestodicidal effects.

Azinox plus, Universal anthelmintic for dogs is active against a large number of helminths capable of parasitizing in dogs (Toxocara canis, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Echinococcus granulosus, Trichurisus vulpis, Echillobothrium caninum, Diphyllobothrium canincoidum, Diphyllobothrium caninum Multiceps multiceps).

Azinox plus, Universal anthelmintic for dogs acts on all phases of the life cycle of tapeworms and roundworms.

Azinox plus, Universal anthelmintic for dogs is used for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes with nematodes (toxocariasis, uncinariosis, toxascariasis, ankylostomiasis) and cestodoses (teniasis, echinococcosis, dipylidiosis, mesocestodosis, diphyllobothriasis).

According to the degree of toxic effect, this drug belongs to the group of low-hazardous for warm-blooded animals.

Azinox plus, Universal anthelmintic for dogs does not have a terratogenic, embryotoxic or local irritant effect.

Application

Azinox plus, Universal anthelmintic for dogs is used for the treatment and quarterly prevention of various helminthiases in dogs of all breeds.

Vacation form

Azinox Plus, the universal anthelmintic for dogs, comes in the form of round tablets. Each contains praziquantel (50 mg) and 150 mg of pyrantel.

The tablets are packed in PVC blisters of three or six pieces and placed in cardboard boxes.

Dosage

Azinox plus, Universal anthelmintic for dogs  is used in the morning feeding. The food is supplemented with 1 tablet per 10 kilograms of the dog’s weight. In this case, preliminary preparation or taking laxative drugs is not required.

The use of a drug for therapeutic purposes is carried out when helminthiasis is detected, and for prophylactic purposes – once a quarter.

Restrictions

Azinox plus, Universal anthelmintic for dogs is not used for deworming in dogs that have hypersensitivity reactions to its components, as well as in puppies up to three weeks of age, pregnant or lactating bitches.
