Excipients: polyoxyethylene alcohol, propylene glycol, glycerin 85%, dimethicone, pure denatured alcohol, distilled water.
Pharmacological properties:
Pyroctolamine is characterized by a spectrum of antifungal action against Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton verrucosum, Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum and other dermatophytes. The fungistatic effect is manifested after 5 minutes of action, after 10 minutes of contact has a fungicidal effect.
The antibacterial spectrum of action of pyroctolamine includes: E. coli, Salmonella spp., Proteus spp., Klebsiella spp., Enterobacteriacae spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Application:
Treatment of dogs, cats, small fur animals with dermatophytosis caused by Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton verrucosum, Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum, etc., as well as diseases caused by microorganisms E. soli, Salmonel. ., Klebsiella spp., Enterobacteriacae spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, sensitive to pyroctolamine.
Dosage:
The drug is sprayed on the affected areas from a distance of 10-20 cm at least 4 times a day with an interval of 2-4 days until the disappearance of signs of the disease. The contents of the vial should be shaken before use.
Contraindication:
Hypersensitivity to pyroctolamine.
Reservation:
Allergic reactions are possible in animals. Exceeding the dose by 10 times causes a local reaction, erythema and hair loss at the application site. Reactions disappear in 5-7 days, erythema disappears, hair becomes smooth and begins to grow again. General reactions after administration of the drug are not observed.
