Pharmacological properties
Fenbendazole belongs to the group of benzimidazoles. It destroys the microtubules of the digestive cells and causes a neurotoxic effect in helminths. It has a detrimental effect on the larvae of different stages and violates the integrity of the shells of helminth eggs, after which they are not capable of further development.
Indications
Treatment and prevention of invasive diseases of horses caused by the following pathogens of nematodes: Acaridae, Strongylidae, Strongyloididae, Oxyurata, Trihonematidae, Dictyocaulus spr., Parafilaria multipapillosa, Onchcerca cervical and larvae of Gasterophilus sp.

Dosage and administration
The drug is administered to animals on the root of the tongue once using a syringe tube.
The therapeutic dose is 1 ml per 20 kg of animal body weight.
With invasions caused by the larvae of Trichostrongylus ahei and Gasterophilus spp., The drug is given again after 24 hours.
Preventive deworming of adult horses is recommended every 3-4 months.
Warnings
After the last use of the drug, the slaughter of animals for meat is allowed after 14 days. Meat obtained earlier than the specified time can only be used for feeding carnivores and making meat and bone meal.
