Composition and form of release
Broadline spot-on is a clear, colorless or yellowish liquid. The drug is produced packaged in 0.3 and 0.9 ml in plastic syringes-applicators. The syringe-applicator of 0.9 ml contains as active ingredients: fipronil 75 mg, S-methoprene 90 mg, eprinomectin 3.6 mg, praziquantel 75 mg, as well as auxiliary substances (butylhydroxytoluene 0.9 mg, stabilized glycerol formal 225 mg, dimethylisosorbitol 584 mg).
Indications
Prescribed to cats for the treatment and prevention of entomoses, nematoses, cestodoses, as well as acarosis caused by ixodid ticks; for the prevention of dirofilariasis caused by larvae of Dirofilaria immiti; and in the complex therapy of allergic dermatitis caused by fleas.
Pharmacological properties
The drug belongs to the combined antiparasitic drugs. The active ingredients included in the preparation provide its wide spectrum of action against ecto- and endoparasites of cats.
After the cutaneous application of the drug, during the first days after treatment, the active ingredients fipronil and (S) -methoprene spread over the skin and hair of the cat practically without being absorbed into the systemic circulation, and have a contact insectoacaricidal effect for up to 42 days. Eprinomectin and praziquantel are well absorbed through the skin and reach their maximum plasma concentration within 48 and 6 hours after treatment, respectively.
Broadline Spot-On is active against: fleas; lice; ixodid ticks; gastrointestinal nematodes (larvae, immature and adult forms); bladder nematodes; pulmonary nematodes; dirofilaria larvae; cestodes (all phases of development).
Doses and method of administration
The drug is administered to cats once by external topical application to dry, intact skin, using applicator syringes of various packaging. Spreading the hair along the midline of the neck between the base of the skull and the shoulder blades, pour the entire contents of the applicator syringe directly onto the skin in one place. Taking into account the weight of the treated cat, choose a syringe-applicator or a combination thereof in accordance with the table.

A single treatment of the cat ensures the destruction of:
- fleas – within 24 hours;
- ticks – within 48 hours;
- the appearance of fleas in the room (places where animals are kept) – for 8 weeks.
Repeated treatments are carried out with an interval of 1 month. You should not wash and bathe the animal within 48 hours after applying the drug.
With frequent (more than 2 times a month) washing the cat with detergent, the treatment can be repeated after 2-2.5 weeks.
The drug is approved for use in healthy cats and kittens from the age of 7 weeks and / or weighing more than 0.6 kg.
For pregnant and lactating cats, if necessary, use under medical supervision.
Side effects
When using the drug in accordance with the instructions, no complications were found. In case of an overdose of the drug, a cat may experience neurological symptoms that disappear spontaneously within a day and do not require the use of drugs.

Contraindications for the use of the drug have not been established.

Broadline spot-on should not be used in conjunction with other antiparasitic drugs.

Storage conditions
In sealed manufacturer’s packaging in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children and animals. Separated from food and feed at temperatures from 0 to 30 ° C.
