Kardishur (Cardisure) is a complete analogue of Vetmedin.
The active ingredient is Pimobendan.
Cardishur has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system of the animal. This drug is prescribed by a veterinarian and the dosage is set based on analyzes and the general condition of the animal.
It is prescribed in case of heart failure in an animal, which is caused by insufficiency of valves or dilated cardiomyopathy (symptoms: shortness of breath, cough, decreased activity).
Contraindications:
Cardishur has a strong effect on the liver, therefore it is prohibited to use animals with liver diseases. Forbidden for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Use with caution in pets with diabetes. It is necessary to constantly monitor the level of glucose in the blood.
Interaction with drugs:
Cardishur is allowed to be used in parallel with other drugs.
Dosage: The dosage is set by the doctor. The drug is used in two doses 1 hour before meals.
Side effects: observed only in case of drug overdose – vomiting or chronotropic action. With the correct dosage, there are no side effects.
