Up Card 0.75 mg 10 tablets (1 tablet per 5 kg) Apcard
Upcard is indicated for the treatment of clinical signs including edema and effusion associated with congestive heart failure in dogs.
Contains torasemide.
The tablets can be administered with or without food.
Dosage: The
recommended dose of torasemide is 0.1 to 0.6 mg per kg of body weight, once a day. Most dogs are stabilized at a dose of torasemide that is less than or equal to 0.3 mg per kg of body weight, once a day. Dosage should be titrated to maintain patient comfort, taking into account renal function and electrolytes. If the level of urine output requires a change, the dose can be increased or decreased within the recommended dose range in increments of 0.1 mg / kg body weight.
Once the signs of heart failure have been controlled and the patient is stable, if long-term diuretic therapy with this product is required, it should be continued with the minimum effective dose.
Caution:
Do not use in case of renal impairment. Do not use if severe dehydration, hypovolemia, or hypotension occurs. Do not use concomitantly with other loop diuretics. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
