Eye drops Diamond eyes, 10 ml
Composition and form of release
In its composition, the drug as active substances contains: chlorhexidine bigluconate – 0.00015 g / ml, taurine – 0.02 g / ml, succinic acid – 0.001 g / ml, as an auxiliary substance – distilled water.
Pharmacological properties
Eye drops Diamond eyes have bactericidal, anti-inflammatory and decongestant properties. When instilled into the conjunctival cavity, the drug easily penetrates into all tissues of the eye, providing a stable therapeutic level of active ingredients.
Chlorhexidine bigluconate has a rapidly manifested bactericidal effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, darmatophytes and lipophilic viruses. Its mechanism of action consists in the binding of cations formed as a result of the dissociation of chlordixidine salts by the walls of bacterial cells, disruption of the osmotic balance and membrane function of cells, which leads to a decrease in the level of cellular ATP and the death of the microorganism. Taurine and succinic acid normalize redox processes, have a reparative effect, slow down the development of cataracts and prevent degenerative and dystrophic disorders in the retina and lens.
