VetExpert Hepatiale Forte Hepatoprotector for cats and dogs 40 tablets(15kg)

Hepatiale Forte 300 mg is intended for dogs and cats weighing up to 15 kg, in need of the maintenance and restoration of liver function.

It is recommended for liver failure and functional disorders, fatty and connective tissue changes in the liver, in the treatment of patients with hepatic encephalopathy, when taking medications with a potentially negative effect on liver cells, in cases of relatively prolonged fasting.

Structure:

The active ingredients are phospholipids: phosphatidylcholine from soybeans and ornithine in the form of L-ornithine L-aspartate

Analytical composition:

Total protein – 23.97% crude fat – 20.23% crude fiber – 36.44% crude ash (including minerals) – 3.71% moisture – 4%.

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) magnesium stearate Hepatiale Forte 300 mg.

In one tablet: phosphatidylcholine -150 mg, ornithine – 1S0 mg, MCC – 240 mg, magnesium stearate 12 mg.

Properties and application:

Phospholipids, esters of glycerol and choline phosphoric acid, have a protective and regenerating effect on liver cells.

Due to the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, phospholipids cannot be synthesized by the body. Phosphatidylcholines entering the tissues are incorporated into the cell membrane of hepatocytes damaged due to pathological processes, restoring their integrity. Thus, they accelerate the regeneration of damaged liver cells and the normalization of their functions. As a result, the functioning of the receptors of cell membranes and enzyme systems improves, the processes of active and passive transport are optimized.

Phospholipids are critical for the differentiation and proliferation of liver cells. Slows the process of liver fibrosis by decreasing collagen production and activating collagenase (an enzyme that breaks down collagen). Phospholipids, along with bile acids, play an important role in the breakdown of fats and the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.

Ornithine in the body of dogs and cats regulates the urea synthesis cycle by converting ammonia, which is formed during the resynthesis of amino acids into urea. It also reduces the toxic effects of ammonia on the body.

Ornithine is especially important for cats, which use amino acids for energy production, as a result of which they undergo very intense deamination processes. Ornithine is especially indicated for cats with a diagnosis of hepatic encephalopathy (or suspicion), who also starved for a long time.

The combination of phospholipids and ornithine in dogs and cats acts as a hepatoprotector, specifically protects liver tissue, initiates the regeneration of hepatocytes, and supports liver function, especially during treating liver diseases.

Dosage (per day): 1 tablet per 15 kg of body weight.

The tablets should be taken whole or in crushed form, during or in between meals. If the dosage per day involves the use of several tablets, the daily dose can be divided into 2 or 3 doses.

The animal should be provided with constant access to fresh water.

To achieve the optimal effect, it is recommended to use the drug for 1 to 3 months, in cases of chronic diseases – up to 6 months.

Before using or increasing the period of use of the drug, it is recommended to consult with a veterinarian, who can change the dosage, as well as the method of use in accordance with the individual characteristics of the animal.
