MedroPet
A hormonal preparation for delaying and early termination of the period of sexual intercourse in females and cats, as well as for the prevention of neuroses and the state of false pregnancy in females.

1. General information
1.1 MedroPET.
1.2 The drug is produced in disposable plastic jars of 10 pieces each.
1.3. The drug is stored with caution, according to list B, in dry places, protected from direct sunlight, inaccessible to children, at temperatures from zero to plus 25 ° C. Expiration date – 36 (thirty six) months from the date of manufacture.
2.Pharmacological properties
2.1 Medroxyprogesterone is a synthetic analogue of the natural hormone progesterone.
2.2 Medroxyprogesterone inhibits the formation of gonadotropic hormones in the pituitary gland of females and inhibits ovulation, affects the duration and manifestation of the estrous cycle.
2.3 By inhibiting the synthesis of testosterone, the drug is able to influence the behavioral responses of males.
2.4 After administration, medroxyprogesterone is metabolized and excreted mainly in feces and in small quantities in urine and milk.
3. The procedure for using the drug
3.1 The drug “MedroPET” is used orally to regulate the sexual cycle in cats and bitches, as well as to correct behavior and reduce sexual activity in males and males.
3.2 Indications, doses and schemes of application of the drug “MedroPET” are shown in table 1.

3.3 It is contraindicated to use the drug in animals that have not reached puberty, during pregnancy and lactation, with pathology of the reproductive and endocrine systems, liver and / or pancreas diseases, diabetes mellitus, tumors and neoplasms of various etiologies.
3.4 With long-term use of the drug “MedroPET” may impair the functions of the liver, pancreas and adrenal glands, increased appetite, an increase in the body weight of the animal (regulated by the amount of feed fed) and the size of the mammary glands.
3.5 Long-term use of the drug in conjunction with glucocorticoids is not recommended.
