Klosiver (closantel, ivermectin) Solution for injection 100 ml

Composition

1 ml of the drug contains active ingredients:

closantel 100 mg;

ivermectin 5 mg.

Pharmacological properties

Closiver is a combined drug that contains closantel and ivermectin. Closantel is a derivative of salicylanidu with antiparasitic action. The mechanism of action of the closantel is to suppress oxidative phosphorylation. The specific effect is to stimulate the ATP enzyme, which leads to a stop in the process of phosphorylation and electron transfer, thus changing the energy metabolism of the parasite, which leads to its death. Ivermectin refers to compounds that are produced by Streptomices avermitis microorganisms. The mechanism of action of ivermectin on the parasite is that ivermectin stimulates the release of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), which binds to special receptors of nerve endings, blocking nerve impulses, causes paralysis and parasite death.

Application

Treatment of cattle, sheep, goats in case of damage:

cattle:

– gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes (adult and larvae stages) – Ostertagia spp., Haemonchusplacet, Cooperia spp., Oesophagostomum radiatum, Trichostrongylus spp., Strongyloides papillosus, Bunostomum phlebotomum, Toxocara vitulorum, Trichuris spp, Dictyocaulus viviparus (adult stages), Nematodirus spp :,

– trematodes – Fasciola spp. ;

– larvae of water – Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum;

– scabies – Psoroptes bovis, Sarcoptes bovis;

– lysami – Haematopinus eurysternus;

sheep and goats:

– gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes (adult and larvae stages) – Ostertagia spp., Haemonchus contortus, Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Nematodirus spp., Tricho ;

– trematodes – Fasciola hepatica:

– scabies – Psoroptes ovis, Sarcoptes ovis;

– sheep runze – Melophagus ovinus.

Dosage

Once in the following doses:

cattle – 1.0 ml of the drug / 50 kg m. t. of animals, subcutaneously into the shoulder blade area;

sheep, goats – 0.5 ml of the drug / 25 kg m. t. animals, subcutaneously.

In sarcoptosis – twice at intervals of 5-7 days. Before mass treatments, the drug is pre-tested on a small number of animals (7-8 heads). In the absence of complications, the drug is used for the entire population within 2-3 days.

Doses of more than 10 ml should be divided into 2 injection sites.

Contraindications

Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to ivermectin and clozantel, as well as animals with liver and kidney diseases.

Do not use simultaneously with other anthelmintic agents.

Do not use for females during lactation and in the last 35 days of pregnancy.

Cannot be used for dogs.

Do not use weakened, exhausted and ill with infectious diseases to animals.

Caution

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 35 days after the last use of the drug. The meat obtained by the specified period is disposed of or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the conclusion of a veterinary doctor.

Release form

Dark glass bottles covered with rubber plugs and aluminum caps for running-in of 10 and 100 ml. Secondary packaging is a cardboard box.

Storage

Dry dark place, inaccessible to children at a temperature from +5°C to +25°C.

Shelf life – 2 years.

After the first selection from the vial, the drug should be used within 14 days, provided that the drug is aseptically selected and stored in a dark place at a temperature of 0°C to + 5 °C.
