Divopride Cardioprotector 40 tab

Composition and release form: a  tablet weighing 0.12 g contains: taurine – 0.1; hawthorn fruit extract – 0.005; motherwort extract – 0.01. Excipients: potato starch, magnesium stearate, aerosil. 10 tablets in a blister, 4 blisters per pack.

Pharmacological action: Taurine is a derivative of the amino acid cysteine. Taurine is an important antioxidant that provides antioxidant protection of the heart, bronchi, eyes, prevents damage to muscle cells and blood cells by free radicals. Regulates the balance of sodium and potassium in the heart fibers, has a tonic effect. Promotes effective removal of cholesterol with bile flow, removal of toxic substances and metabolic products from the body. Hawthorn fruit extract contains amines (choline, acetylcholine), beta-carotene, vitamin K, anthocyanins, sugars, quercetin, sterols, flavonoids, ascorbic acid, pectins, sorbitol, thereby increasing blood supply in the coronary vessels of the heart and in the cerebral vessels, increases sensitivity myocardium to cardiac glycosides, somewhat enhances the contraction of the heart muscle and reduces the excitability of the latter; it has a calming effect, normalizes blood pressure. The extract of motherwort five-lobed has antispasmodic, neuroprotective, sedative and hypotensive properties, slows down the heart rate, increases the strength of heart contractions, has a weak diuretic effect, regulates the reproductive cycle and the functions of the digestive apparatus. Improves the contractile and pumping functions of the heart muscle, reduces blood pressure and normalizes the heart rate. The components of the feed additive are almost completely absorbed from the digestive tract. The time during which the maximum concentration of taurine and other components of the drug in the blood is reached is 2 hours. Cardiopreparation “Divopride” is evenly distributed in tissues and body fluids. Its main amount is excreted in the urine, the half-life is 6-8 hours.

Indications : as part of the complex therapy of diseases of the cardiovascular system of dogs and cats.

Doses and method of administration:  internally. Dogs and cats up to 5 kg – 1 tab. 2 times a day. Dogs and cats from 5 to 10 kg – 1 tab. 3 times a day. Dogs over 10 kg – 1-2 tab. 3 times a day.

Contraindications:  hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Storage conditions:  store in a dry, dark place and out of reach of children, at temperatures from 0 ° C to 30 ° C. Shelf life – 3 years.
