Structure:
100 g of the preparation contains active ingredients (g):

chlorophyllipt – 5.0;

ether composition – 4.7;

camphor – 0.16;

menthol – 0.08.

Pharmacological properties:
The pharmacological action of the ointment is due to the presence of essential oils, in particular their antiseptic activity (gram-positive and gram-negative coca, vibrios, viruses, protozoa, microscopic fungi). Resistance does not develop due to the destructive effect of essential oils on the cytoplasmic membrane of the microorganism and damage to the defense and adaptation mechanisms of the microbial cell. In addition, the antibacterial activity of essential oils is combined with their complete safety.

Chlorophyllipt has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, decongestant effect; acts antibacterial against antibiotic-resistant staphylococci; stimulates blood formation, tissue regeneration, phagocytic activity of leukocytes and connective tissue cells.

When applied topically, camphor moderately irritates nerve endings, with prolonged exposure to the skin, it reduces the sensitivity of skin receptors, and reduces the migration of leukocytes from the vessels. Acts bacteriostatically, especially on coccal forms.

Menthol enhances the local action of essential oils from plants, has a sedative, mild local analgesic and mild antiseptic effect. When applied topically, it constricts the vessels of the skin.

The ointment has an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous effect, is quickly absorbed at the sites of application, enhances local blood circulation, activates skin nutrition, which contributes to the healing of microtraumas. Protects the udder skin from harmful environmental influences (cold, moisture, wind), as well as from insect bites. Prevents dry hands from frequent washing and disinfection. After applying the ointment, the skin becomes elastic, soft, and does not crack.

Application:
with a preventive purpose to prevent inflammation of the mammary gland of cows, goats, sheep, mares, and especially in case of non-compliance with sanitary and hygienic requirements, violation of the rules of machine milking;
in the complex therapy of clinically expressed forms and subclinical mastitis of cows, goats, sheep, mares (rubbing in the ointment is combined with massage of the mammary gland, in cases where massage is not contraindicated);
for treating the hands of an obstetrician or gloves when providing obstetric aid for physiological and pathological childbirth;
to scare away insects from the udder of cows, mares, sheep and goats when grazing in summer camps;
for lubricating nipple cracks, as well as for chapping, dermatitis, sunburn, frostbite of the udder in winter;
to prevent skin infection and the ingress of microflora through the nipple canal (galactogenic pathway of penetration of microbes in mastitis) when keeping animals on a contaminated bedding;
for lubricating the hands of milkmaids and the udder of first-calf heifers when manually distributing;
in the complex therapy of serous edema of the udder, papillomas of the nipples and udder, hematomas, bruises;
for massage of the sphincter of the nipple canal with lactorremia (unauthorized leakage of milk);
to relieve allergic reactions and itching of the skin of the udder with insect bites;
in complex therapy for phlebitis, paraphlebitis, lymphangitis, tendinitis.
Dosage:
The udder and nipples are lubricated with a small amount of ointment after each shedding. If necessary, the milkmaid lubricates her hands after milking.

In the complex therapy of mastitis, when the first signs of a disease of the udder and nipples appear, intensively lubricate and massage until the ointment is completely absorbed. The procedure must be repeated every 4 hours until the clinical signs of the disease disappear.

In other cases, the ointment is applied to the affected area 2-3 times a day, and rubbed in until it is completely absorbed. For cracks, burns, insect bites and other itchy areas on the skin, the affected areas are smeared with a thick layer of ointment. The drug is used until the signs of the disease disappear. It is recommended to protect the sore spots with a bandage to prevent additional injury during the licking of the ointment by animals.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the ointment.

Banks made of polymeric materials of 10 g, 15 g, 20 g, 30 g, 40 g, 50 g, 100 g, 150 g, 200 g, 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg; laminated tubes of 50 g, 100 g, 200 g.
