Iodine Solution 5% 200ml

Description: A solution of red-brown color with a specific odor.

Composition: 200 ml of solution contains: iodine 5 g, potassium iodide 2 g, water and alcohol 95% equally up to 200 ml.

Pharmacological properties: Alcohol iodine solution has antimicrobial, irritating effect, accelerates wound healing. When absorbed, iodine has an active effect on metabolism, enhances the processes of dissimilation, and participates in the synthesis of thyroxine.

Application: A solution of iodine alcohol 5% is applied to animals externally:
– for processing the operating field, the place of parenteral administration of medicinal substances, as well as the surgeon’s fingers;
– as an antimicrobial, hemostatic agent that accelerates wound healing with fresh wounds, trauma, furunculosis, fistulas;
– as an irritant and distracting agent for chronic inflammation of the joints, tendon sheaths, muscles, skin.
The use of a solution of iodine alcohol 5% does not cause complications and has no side effects in animals.

There are no contraindications for use.

Release form: The drug is packed in dark glass containers or bottles of 30, 50, 100, 200, 500 ml. Glass bottles of 1, 3, 5, 10, 20 liters.

Storage: Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature of 15 ° C to 25 ° C.

Expiration date: 3 years from the date of preparation.
