San D cream, 20 g

Description and composition
Cream of white color with a slight specific odor, which corresponds to the constituent components.

1 g of cream contains:

betamethasone dipropionate – 0.64 mg;

gentamicin sulfate – 1.0 mg;

clotrimazole – 10.0 mg;

excipients up to 1 g.

Pharmacological properties
The drug has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-allergenic and antifungal properties.

Betamethasone dipropionate – has an extensive anti-inflammatory effect, relieves itching. Clotrimazole in the composition of the drug actively fights against the multiplication of fungal infection, suppresses protein synthesis in the cells of pathogens and cleans the wound.

The antibiotic effect occurs by exposing the lesion to gentomycin.

Application
The drug is used to treat cats and dogs. It is used for the treatment of various skin lesions, including those of an infectious nature. It is active when interacting with Candida and fungal bacteria.

Dosage
Before using the drug, the hair in the affected area must be cut short, shaved if possible. It is necessary to apply the product 2 times a day – in the morning and in the evening, rubbing the ointment with light circular movements. The procedure is recommended to be carried out with gloves or a special applicator. If the inflammatory process begins to pass, then you can limit yourself to using the ointment once a day. The course of treatment depends on the intensity of the lesions and the degree of recovery, lasting from 2 to 4 weeks. It is not recommended to renew the course on your own. If it becomes necessary to reapply it, it can be started no earlier than 20 days after the previous therapy.

Contraindications
It is impossible to prolong the course of treatment, this can lead to undesirable consequences. It is strictly forbidden to use the ointment to treat animals with individual intolerance to the components of the drug. It is not recommended to use the drug for the treatment of pregnant animals and during the feeding of newborn pets.

Storage
Do not expose to low temperatures and direct sunlight.

The shelf life of the drug is 3 years from the date of release.
