PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Praziquantel is a broad-spectrum anti-cestode drug that is effective against isoquinoline compounds. effect; preventing the absorption of glucose, disrupting the membrane permeability of the strips and depleting the energy reserves of parasites. Shortly after contact with praziquantel and cestode, strong strokes are observed in the strobiles along all rings, resulting in the release of hooks embedded in the intestine and intestinal contact with the parasite. The drug also acts on the larvae of the strips. The biological half-life of Praziquantel is up to 3 hours, and 80% is excreted in the first 24 hours. The drug is dispersed in all tissues of the body and is largely biotransformed in the liver.
USING
Anipracid solution for injection is used to control the following parasites in dogs and cats:
Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Taenia hydatigena, Taenia pisiformis, Taenia ovis, Hydatigera (Taenia) taeniaeformis, Dipylidium caninum, Multiceps multiceps, Joyeuxiella pasqualei, Mesocestoides sp.
APPLICATIONS AND DOSAGE
Pharmacological dose for dogs and cats: 5.7 mg Praziquantel / kg body weight Practical dose; This is 1 ml of solution for every 10 kg of body weight.

SPECIAL CLINICAL INFORMATION AND WARNINGS FOR THESE SPECIES
Taking into account the living conditions of cats and dogs, feeding conditions and the fact that the strips mature and lay eggs in the body of the owner (pre-patent period):
Every 4 weeks sheep and hunting dogs, every 6 weeks in areas where E. granulosa, T.ovis and T. hydatigena are common, every 2-3 weeks in places of D. caninum infection, once every 3 months in domestic dogs, in domestic cats 4- Treatment should be renewed every 6 months.
OVERDOSE
In large dogs, a local skin reaction may occur due to the large amount of subcutaneous product used.
