Upcard 7.5 mg 10 tabs

Upcard 7.5 mg 10 tab. a diuretic, which is used in complex therapy to eliminate symptoms associated with fluid retention in heart failure in dogs, as well as in edema and effusion. The active ingredient is torasemide. ApCard is not a potassium-excreting drug, therefore, additional prescription of minerals is not required.

The dosage of the drug is from 0.1 to 0.6 mg per 1 kg of animal weight. In the absence of special indications, the condition of the animal is stabilized at a dosage of 0.3 mg. for 1 kg. weight or less. Upcard is administered orally to the animal regardless of food intake. After administration, the maximum concentration is reached in less than 1 hour. Bioavailability is 90%. The drug should be given daily, avoiding skipping. If the drug is missed, in order to resume the effectiveness of urination, the dosage should not be increased.

Contraindications:

– individual intolerance to the components of the drug

– kidney disease, dehydration

– hypovolemia or hypotension

– do not combine with other diuretics

– not assigned to productive animals.
Upcard (torasemide) is a drug that belongs to the 4th hazard class. Before use, you must carefully read the instructions. Not for pregnant and lactating bitches. An overdose of the drug can lead to severe dehydration, decreased electrolyte levels, vomiting, diarrhea, and gastrointestinal problems. The presence of soft stools is temporary and does not require discontinuation of the drug.

Diuretic Apcard is intended only for dogs, people are prohibited from using it.

It is necessary to store the drug out of the reach of children and animals, separately from food. Avoid direct sunlight at temperatures between 5 and 25 degrees Celsius. Shelf life 3 years from the date of manufacture.
