Composition:
1 ml contains:
active substance: marbofloxacin – 160.0 mg;
Excipient: benzyl alcohol (E1519) – 15.0 mg, glucono-delta-lactone, water for injection.

Dosage form:
Solution for injection.
Transparent solution from yellow-green to yellow-brown.

Pharmacodynamic properties:
Marbofloxacin is an anti-infectious bactericidal synthetic substance belonging to the fluoroquinolone family. Acts by inhibiting DNA gyrase. Its in vitro spectrum of action is wide, focused on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Application:
Shake well before use.
If the volume injected intramuscularly is more than 20 ml, it should be divided into two or more injections at different sites.

In fattening pigs: treatment of respiratory tract infections caused by Marbofloxacin-susceptible strains Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida. In weaned piglets: treatment of intestinal infections caused by susceptible strains of E. coli. In sows: treatment of metritis-mastitis-agalactia syndrome caused by strains of E. coli susceptible to marbofloxacin.
The recommended dose is 8 mg / kg body weight (1 ml / 20 kg body weight) intramuscularly.

In cattle: therapeutic treatment of respiratory infections caused by susceptible strains Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica. In lactating cows: treatment of acute mastitis caused by susceptible strains of E. coli.
Therapeutic treatment of respiratory infections: 10 mg / kg body weight, i.e. 10 ml / 160 kg body weight per one intramuscular injection.
Treatment of acute mastitis caused by susceptible strains of Escherichia coli: 10 mg / kg of body weight, that is, 10 ml / 160 kg of body weight, in one intramuscular or intravenous injection.

Caution:
Do not use on animals known to be hypersensitive to fluoroquinolones or any of the excipients.
Do not use where the pathogen involved is resistant to other fluoroquinolones (cross-resistance).

Waiting time:
Pigs: meat and offal – 9 days.
Cattle: meat and offal – 5 days; milk – 48 hours.

Expiration date:
3 years.
Shelf life after first opening the package: 28 days.
