INSTRUCTIONS

on the use of the drug Bars Lotion for cleaning the ears of dogs and cats

COMPOSITION AND FORM OF ISSUE

An alcoholic solution of glycerin and dimethyl sulfoxide. Lotion Bars for cleaning the ears of dogs and cats is a clear yellow liquid. The drug is packaged in plastic dropper bottles of 15, 20 and 25 ml of the drug or in glass bottles of 5 and 10 ml of the drug. Glass vials are sealed with a rubber stopper and rolled in with aluminum caps.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Glycerin, which is part of the lotion, is very hygroscopic, therefore, it absorbs well the inflammatory exudate containing water. Dimethyl sulfoxide, which is part of the drug, easily dissolves earwax and dirt, which allows you to effectively clean the animal’s auricle; it also has anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, analgesic effect, increases the sensitivity of microflora to antibiotics.

INDICATIONS

To remove sulfur and inflammation products from the auricle of an animal for hygienic purposes and before using medications.

DOSES AND METHOD OF APPLICATION

Three to five drops of the drug are injected into the ear of the animal, the auricle is massaged in a circular motion, then with a cotton swab dipped in lotion, dissolved sulfur and dirt are removed from the ear. The processing is repeated as needed.

SIDE EFFECTS

Side effects and complications when using the drug in accordance with the interim instruction have not been established.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
The drug is contraindicated for use in case of perforation of the tympanic membrane and hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

When working with the drug, you should follow the general rules of personal hygiene and safety measures provided for when working with veterinary drugs. Do not use empty bottles for household purposes.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
