Enroksan MAX 10% (enrofloxacin)

COMPOSITION

100 ml of the preparation contains the active ingredient:

enrofloxacin – 10.0 g

Excipients: benzyl alcohol, butylhydroxytoluene, butylhydroxyanisole, propylene glycol dicaprylate / dicaprate.

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones, it interferes with the synthesis of DNA in the cells of microorganisms. The drug acts bactericidal against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms (Staphylococcus aureus, Enterobacteriaceae spp., Pasteurella spp., Haemophilus spp., Actinobacillus spp., Brucella spp., Bordetella bronchiseptica, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp. , Etc. ), and also acts against mycoplasma (Mycoplasma spp.) and chlamydia ( Chlamydia spp.).

APPLICATION

Treatment of cattle and pigs for respiratory and digestive tract diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to enrofloxacin.

DOSAGE

Subcutaneously in cattle, intramuscularly in pigs at a dose of 7.5 ml of the drug per 100 kg of body weight (7.5 mg of enrofloxacin per kg of body weight) once. No more than 15 ml can be injected into one injection site – for cattle, 5 ml – for pigs.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

Do not use on non-target animals.

Do not use simultaneously with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, macrolide antibiotics, tetracycline and chloramphenicol.

Do not use in pregnant sows, as well as animals with signs of diseases of the central nervous system.

Do not use in animals with impaired cartilage and bone tissue development.

CAVEATS

The slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 14 (cattle) and 10 (pigs) days after the last use of the drug. The consumption of milk for human consumption is allowed 3 days after the last use of the drug. Meat and milk received before the specified period are disposed of or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the conclusion of a veterinary doctor.

Bottles made of dark glass, closed with a rubber stopper for an aluminum rim, 100.0 ml each.
