Structure:
The tablet (1 g) contains the active ingredient: fenbendazole – 250 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
АТСvet code QP52AC – benzimidazoles and their derivatives, QР52AC12 – fenbendazole.
The active ingredient is fenbendazole (a group of benzimidazoles) inhibits the polymerization of tubulin proteins into microtubulins, reduces the activity of energy enzymes, slows down metabolism in helminths, as a result of which the absorption of nutrients (adenosine triphosphoric acid and glucose) is impaired, mitochondrial reactions decrease, complete depletion and paralysis of parasites occurs.
The drug Fenzol – 250 tablets is practically non-toxic for animals, embryotoxic and teratogenic properties have not been established.
Fenbendazole has an ovocidal effect. Effective against gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, in an increased dose – against trematodes and cestodes of animals.
Application:

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to fenbendazole.
Warning:
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 14 days after the last use of the drug, milk is used for human consumption after 4 days.
