Description

Hyperimmune serum GISKAN-5 is intended for the prevention and treatment of canine plague, parvovirus, coronavirus enteritis and adenovirus infections in canines.
The serum is a slightly opalescent yellowish or yellowish-brown liquid with a slight sediment at the bottom.

Application

The greatest therapeutic effect is achieved when using serum in the initial stage of the disease.
The drug is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly:

* for the prevention of viral infections in animals weighing up to 5 kg – 1 cm3, over 5 kg – 2 cm3;
* for therapeutic purposes, GISKAN-5 is administered in the indicated doses 1-3 times with an interval of 12-24 hours, depending on the severity of the pathological process.

The drug can be used in combination with symptomatic treatment, administration of antibiotics, etc.

Immunity

Passive immunity lasts up to 2 weeks. After this period, vaccination is carried out to create active immunity.

24 months subject to storage and transportation conditions (dry, dark place, temperature from 4 to 10 ° C).
