Storage:
100 ml of the drug contains the active substance:

sodium chloride – 0.9 g

Excipient: water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:
Sodium chloride solution 0.9% has a detoxifying and rehydration effect, maintains and regulates the osmotic pressure of blood plasma and extracellular fluid, increasing sodium deficiency in various pathological conditions. Administered parenterally, briefly increases the volume of circulating blood, and has a moderate diuretic effect. Dehydration of the drug increases the deficit of fluid in the body and normalizes the message of water-salt homeostasis.

Excreted using the kidneys.

Application:
Treatment of cattle, pigs, dogs with significant losses of total fluid; intoxication; burn disease; toxic dyspepsia; lower blood pressure; shock; in the postoperative period; for washing wounds, mouth and nasal cavity, mucous membranes of the eye; as a solvent for dry medicines and biological products.

Dosage:
Inject intravenously, intramuscularly or subcutaneously in doses (per ml per animal):

cattle 500-3000;
pigs 10-150;
dogs 10-40.
Before administration of the drug to warm up to the body temperature of animals.

Contraindication:
Hypernatremia, acidosis, hyperchloremia, hypokalemia, extracellular hyperhydration; intracellular dehydration; swelling of the brain, lungs and circulatory disorders that threaten the swelling of the brain and lungs. With caution – in renal and cardiovascular insufficiency, oliguria, anuria.

Reservation:
The introduction of large objects of sodium chloride solution 0.9% can lead to the development of acidosis and hyperhydration, increased cerebral edema and lightness, increased potassium loss.

With subcutaneous injection at the injection site, a slight assumption is possible, which disappears within 2-3 years.

Intravenous injections of drugs in maximum doses are not desirable in circulatory disorders, the threat of pulmonary and cerebral edema, glomerulonephritis.

Glass vials closed with rubber stoppers under aluminum run-in 10, 50, 100, 200 ml and 5000 ml in PVC containers.
