Otibiovin ear drops 20 ml (triamcinolone acetonide, gentamicin sulfate, salicylic acid)

Composition:
– triamcinolone acetonide – 0.5 mg
– salicylic acid -5 mg
– gentamicin sulfate -2 mg

Pharmacological properties of ear drops Otibiovin (Otibiovin):
The drug otibiovin has a wide antimicrobial spectrum of action due to an aminoglycoside antibiotic that acts bactericidal against some gram-positive and most gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella, Shigella, Enterobakter aerogenes, Kseudomonasiella, spp., Actinobacillus spp., Campylobakter fetus subsp.jejuni, Mycoplasma). Salicylic acid in the preparation acts as a soothing and disinfecting component on the tissue. Triamcinolone acetone is a semi-synthetic corticosteroid that has a calming and anti-inflammatory effect.

Indications for use:
Otibiovin is indicated for the treatment of acute bacterial and yeast ear infections in cats, dogs and other unproductive animals (mainly otitis externa), superficial dermatitis, eczema of the ears and ear canal in dogs and cats.

Dosages:
The drug is instilled into the auditory canal, at the beginning of the course 3-4 times a day, and after 3 days 2-3 times a day in the amount of 4-5 drops. Before use, it is recommended to clean the ear canal from scabs and crusts. After instilling the drug, carry out a light massage of the ear circumference for better penetration of the drug into the tissues. The course of treatment is 5-7 days, but no more than 12 days (3 days after the signs of the disease disappear).

Contraindications:
Rupture of the eardrum in an animal.

Caution:
The drug Otibiovin (Otibiovin) has restrictions on the use. It is allowed to use it for complex infectious diseases of the ear, on the basis of clinical and diagnostic studies and the establishment of pathogens, as well as their sensitivity to this active substance, antibiotic.

Dry, dark place at temperatures from + 15 ° С to + 25 ° С.

Shelf life is 2 years. After opening the bottle, the drug must be used within 12 days.
