Dietary supplement for dogs and cats with DL-methionine.
DL-methionine acidifies urine and prevents the re-formation of struvite stones. Struvite (from phosphate, ammonium, and magnesium) stones are found in alkaline urine and are the most common. The drug is prescribed for therapeutic purposes in diseases of the urinary tract (urolithiasis), prophylactically to prevent relapse.
The recommended application period is up to 6 months. The tablets must be provided with food. You should consult your veterinarian before use.
Dosage:
dogs of small breeds – 1 tab. for a day;
dogs of medium breeds – 2 tab. for a day;
dogs of large breeds – 3 tab. for a day;
Small breed cats and dogs – 1-2 mini tables. for the day.
