Anthelmintic agent for cats and dogs with the taste of ocean fish.

Active ingredients:

Pyrantel pamoate – 150 mg, praziquantel – 50 mg.

Effective against most intestinal parasites in dogs and cats:

• in the composition of praziquantel – the most reliable substance against tapeworms
• effective against adult and immature forms of helminths
• as part of pyrantel pomoat – effective against round worms
• in recommended doses, non-toxic for cats and dogs
• can be used for puppies and kittens from 6 weeks of age
• with the taste of ocean fish – convenient and easy to use

Combined anthelmintic drug with a wide spectrum of nematicidal and cestocidal action on all phases of development of round and tapeworms parasitizing in dogs and cats, incl. Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Echinococcus granulosis, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Mesocestoides spp.

Pyrantela pamoate acts as a cholinergic antagonist, inducing spasmodic paralysis of roundworms by depolarizing neuromuscular blockade.

Praziquantel is rapidly absorbed by the outer shell of tapeworms, after which its damage and contraction occurs. The consequence of a violation of the penetrating properties of membranes is paralysis of parasites.

When administered orally, praziquantel is rapidly absorbed in the intestine and distributed in organs and tissues, excreted from the body mainly in the urine in a metabolized form; pyrantel pamoat – is partially absorbed in the intestine and excreted from the body mainly with feces within 24-48 hours.

Indications for use

Treatment and prevention of helminthiasis in dogs and cats, including:

nematodes (toxocariasis, toxacaridosis, uncinariosis, hookworm);

cestodes (teniosis, dipilidiosis, echinococcosis, mesocystodosis).

Application procedure

Tablets are fed once, in whole or in crushed form, with feed in the following doses:

A preliminary fasting diet and the use of laxatives before deworming are not required.

For therapeutic purposes, the drug is administered to animals once, for prophylactic purposes – once a quarter at a therapeutic dose.

It is allowed to use the drug during pregnancy, but taking into account the condition of the animal, if it is necessary to carry out deworming.

If the next preventive deworming is missed, it should be carried out as soon as possible in the same dose.
