A yellowish liquid with a specific odor.

Composition

100 ml of the drug contains the active ingredient:

• avermectin C – 0.2 g.

Excipients: main fraction of ethyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol-400 (polyethylene oxide-400), neonol or syntanol, citric acid, glycerin, flavoring, purified water.

Pharmacological properties

ATS vet QP54, endectocide (QP54AA, avermectin).

The active ingredient of the drug Aversectin C is a complex of natural avermectins, which are produced by the non-pathogenic soil fungus Streptomyces avermitilis. Avermectins are natural highly specific neurotoxins that in microdoses penetrate the body of ectoparasites and irreversibly affect their nervous system. Aversectin C enhances the production of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which binds to special receptors on nerve endings, blocking nerve impulses, which causes paralysis and death of the parasite. The drug is low-toxic to mammals, in recommended doses it does not exhibit sensitizing, embryotoxic, teratogenic and mutagenic effects.

Application

Prevention and treatment of cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry (chickens) affected by ectoparasites:

• ticks – causative agents of psoroptosis ( Psoroptes bovis, P. ovis );
• ticks – causative agents of demodicosis ( Demodex bovis, D. phylloides, D. ovis );
• ticks of the family Ixodidae ;
• chicken mites ( Dermanyssus gallinae );
• lice ( Heamatopinus eurysternus, H. suis, Linognathus vituli, L. ovillus );
• fleas ( Vermipsylla alacurt, V. dorcadia );
• flies ( Musca domestica, Stomoxys calcitrans, Haematobia stimulans, etc. ).

Dosage

Animals are treated by spraying or bathing with the working solution of the drug.

The working solution of the drug is applied to animal fur and chicken feathers, left for 5 minutes (exposure) and rinsed well with warm water. The working solutions are not stored.

Contraindication

Do not use to treat weakened, tired and sick animals for infectious animal diseases!

Do not use for treating cows during lactation, as well as in the last month of pregnancy (28 days before calving)!

Reservation

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. The working solution must be used within 24 hours after preparation. The product is toxic to bees.

Slaughter of cattle, sheep and pigs for meat is permitted 7 days after processing the animals. In case of forced slaughter, the meat is used for feeding carnivorous animals.

Personnel working with the product must follow the basic hygiene and safety rules adopted when working with veterinary drugs.

Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not use empty bottles for food purposes.

Release form

Glass bottles of 10 ml, 100 ml; polymer canisters of 900 ml, 4.8 l.

Storage

Dry, dark place at a temperature of minus 10°C to 20°C. Do not store the drug together with food and animal feed.

Shelf life –  2 years
