Description:
Highly effective endetocide for the control of helminths and ectoparasites of cattle.
Ingredients:
In 1 ml of baymek as an active substance contains 10 mg of ivermectin, obtained by fermentation of the fungus Streptomyces avermitilis, and auxiliary components glycerolformal and propylene glycol.
Pharmacological properties:
Baymek has a wide range of antiparasitic effects, detrimental effect on nematodes, lice, bloodsuckers, pathogens of sarcoptoidosis, larvae of gnats and other arthropods. Ivermectin, which is part of the drug, enhancing the production of the inhibitory neurotransmitter – gamma-aminobutyric acid, disrupts the transmission of nerve impulses in parasites, leading to their paralysis and death.
After subcutaneous administration, the drug is rapidly absorbed from the injection site, distributed in the organs and tissues of the animal, providing a long-lasting antiparasitic effect. According to the degree of impact on the body of warm-blooded animals baymek is a moderately dangerous substances, the active substance – ivermectin – to extremely dangerous substances.
In the recommended doses, the drug has no mutagenic, embryotoxic and teratogenic effects. Baymek is excreted from the body of animals with urine and bile, and in lactating animals – also with milk, in the environment is rapidly destroyed. Baymek is toxic to fish and bees.
Indication:
Baymek is used in cattle, sheep, deer against dictyocaulosis, ostertagiosis, hemonhosis, trichostrongylosis, co-op, esophagostomosis, nematodirosis, strongyloidiasis, bunostomosis, trichocephaly, pyelospharmacosis, telazatosis, telaziotososis, telaziotososis; pigs against ascariasis, esophagostomosis, strongyloidiasis, trichocephaly, metastrongylosis, sarcoptoidosis and sifunculatosis.
Animal species:
Cattle, sheep, deer.
Dosage and method of application:
200 mcg of active substance per 1 kg of animal weight for cattle, sheep, reindeer; 300 mcg of active substance per 1 kg of animal weight for pigs.
This corresponds to:
cattle and reindeer – 1 ml / 50 kg of animal weight;
Sheep – 0.5 ml / 25 kg of animal weight;
Pigs – 1 ml / 33 kg of animal weight.
The drug is used only for subcutaneous injection.
Cattle: subcutaneous injection into the forearm.
When the solution is administered in a volume exceeding 10 ml, the injection is performed in several places. Sheep: subcutaneous injection in the back of the head.
In severe cases of psoroptosis of sheep, animals are re-treated with bayme 7 days after the first administration of the drug.
Reindeer: subcutaneous injection into the forearm.
Pigs: subcutaneous injection in the back of the head.
Contraindications:
Do not use baimek dogs, weakened, exhausted and active animals, as well as pregnant females at least 28 days before lactation.

Slaughter of meat treated with baimeke is allowed in 28 days; sheep – in 42 days; cattle and deer – 21 days after treatment.
In the case of forced slaughter of animals before the deadline, the meat is used to feed carnivores or for the production of meat and bone meal.
