Pronefra 60 ml Virbac
Virbac has launched the “unique” 4-in-1 Pronefra helps to manage chronic kidney disease (CKD) in cats and dogs. According to the company, this drug (Pronefra) helps manage a number of factors that are known to affect quality and / or longevity. Calcium Carbonate and Magnesium Carbonate – Limit the bioavailability of phosphate.
Chitosan – decreases the level of uremic toxins and urea in the blood, improves kidney function, and due to this, the level of creatinine in the blood serum decreases. Chitosan lowers serum cholesterol levels by binding bile acids in the intestine, and increases hemoglobin levels.
Astragales Polysaccharides – Helps maintain normal kidney structure by limiting the progression of fibrosis.
Oligopeptides of Marine Origin – Helps maintain balanced blood pressure.
Easy to use liquid suspension. Can be administered directly into the mouth, can be added to food. Preferably with meals.
Recommended dosage:
Cats 1 ml per 4 kg. body weight, initially up to 6 months, twice daily with meals.
Dogs 1 ml per 5 kg. body weight, initially up to 6 months, twice daily with meals.
