VETEXPERT URINOVET DOG – PILLS FOR DOG URINARY SYSTEM HEALTH

VetExpert UrinoVet Dog  is a food supplement for maintaining and restoring the functions of the urinary system in dogs.

Indications for use:

Urolithiasis (urological syndrome)
Blood in the urine (hematuria – urological syndrome)
Acute, chronic, recurrent bacterial infection
Cystitis of any etiology
Urethritis
Treatment and recovery for urolithiasis / urethrolithiasis, with various types of stones (urates, struvites, oxalates)
Treatment and recovery after surgical removal of urinary stones
During urinary recovery
During the prophylaxis of patients who have undergone the catheterization procedure
Properties of active ingredients:

Glucosamine  is a precursor of glycosaminoglycans that are part of the extracellular bed of the mucous membrane of the lower urinary tract. It reduces the possibility of bacteria and toxins getting into the bladder wall. Supports the health of the urinary tract and protects it from chronic infections.
 
Cranberry extract  – contains proanthocyanidin, which inactivates fimbriae and adhesins. The lack of fimbrial adhesion prevents bacteria from adhering to the epithelial cells of the urinary system. This slows down the growth of bacteria in the bladder and prevents chronic infections in the urinary tract from developing.
 
Parsley extract  – increases the volume of urine excreted so that pathogens are flushed out of the urinary tract. The mechanism of action is to reduce the activity of the sodium-potassium pump in the kidneys, which reduces both the return capture of sodium ions (Na +) and the excretion of potassium ions (K +). This leads to an osmotic flow of water into the lumen of the renal tubules, increases the volume of urine and urine output.

Composition (1 tablet):  cranberry extract – Vaccinum macrocarpon (300 mg), parsley extract – Petroselinum sativum (50 mg), glucosamine – Glucosaminum (50 mg).

Dosage (per day):  1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight.

Method of application:  can be used whole or crushed, during or in between meals. If the dosage per day involves the use of several tablets, the daily dose can be divided into two or three doses. To achieve the best effect, it is recommended to use the drug for 1 to 3 months, in cases of chronic diseases – up to 6 months without interruption.
Before using or increasing the period of use of the drug, it is recommended to consult with a veterinarian, who can change the dosage, as well as the method of use, in accordance with the individual characteristics of the animal.
