xeroform 30 mg;
Excipients: Aerosil, castor oil.
Pharmacological properties:
Vishnevsky’s ointment has antiseptic and local irritant effect. The drug normalizes blood circulation in tissues, accelerates regeneration and epithelialization, enhances the process of keratinization.
Application:
An ointment is used for farm and domestic animals in the treatment of wounds, ulcers, bedsores, abscesses, boils, burns and other skin lesions.
Dosage:
Ointment is used in the form of bandages, applications and tampons. Before applying the ointment, the affected area is cleaned of mechanical inclusions, dirt, exudate residues, hair and apply gauze wipes soaked in ointment. On top impose a fixing bandage with a hygroscopic layer (compress paper, parchment or oilcloth). Bandages are changed in 1-2 days. In the open method of treatment, the ointment is applied in a thin layer on the affected areas of the skin and 2-4 cm around them 1-2 times a day until the clinical effect. Gauze swabs impregnated with the drug are applied to deep wounds with small areas.
