Description:

Structure:
100 ml of the preparation contains the active ingredient:
pyroctolamine – 1 g.
Excipients: polyoxyethylene alcohol, propylene glycol, glycerin 85, dimethicone, pure denatured alcohol, distilled water.
Pharmacological properties:
Pyroctolamine is characterized by a spectrum of antimycotic action against Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton verrucosum, Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum and other dermatophytes. The fungistatic effect is manifested after 5 minutes of action, after 10 minutes of contact, it is fungicidal.
The antibacterial spectrum of action of pyroctolamine includes: E. coli, Salmonella spp., Proteus spp., Klebsiella spp., Enterobacteriacae spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Application:
Treatment of dogs, cats, small fur-bearing animals, patients with dermatophytosis caused by Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton verrucosum, Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum, etc. ., Enterobacteriacae spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, sensitive to pyroctolamine.
Dosage:
The drug is sprayed onto the affected areas from a distance of 10-20 cm at least 4 times a day with an interval of 2-4 days until the signs of the disease disappear. Shake the contents of the bottle before use.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to pyroctolamine.
Caveats:
Allergic reactions are possible in animals. Exceeding the dose by 10 times causes a local reaction, the formation of erythema and hair loss at the site of application. The reactions disappear after 5-7 days, the erythema disappears, the coat becomes smooth and begins to grow again. General reactions after using the drug are not observed.
