Composition and form of release
Kot Bayun® is a drug for cats and dogs, containing as active ingredients extracts, decoctions and infusions from medicinal plant raw materials (flowers and fruits of hawthorn, hop cones, motherwort herb, oregano herb, sweet clover, roots and rhizomes of valerian, mint leaves pepper, ivy grass, catnip herb, lemon balm, meadowsweet flowers, St. John’s wort, thyme herb, marsh cinnamon herb, marsh grass grass, nettle leaf, peony roots evading) – 3.2% and auxiliary components (lactose, starch, calcium stearate, distilled water) – up to 100%.
The drug is a white to light yellow biconvex tablet. Blotches and slight marbling are allowed.
The drug is released packaged in 50 tablets in polymer cans or food grade polyethylene bags placed in a box made of cardboard box.
Pharmacological properties
The mechanism of action of the drug is due to the presence in its composition of biologically active substances of medicinal plants that have sedative, analgesic, anxiolytic (weakening the feeling of fear), antispasmodic properties. Cat Bayun® tablets provide animals with the most important plant micronutrients with adaptogenic and restorative properties necessary for stable, adequate, balanced behavior of the animal, which helps to correct behavior and reduce the risk of mental lability – anxiety and aggressiveness in a normal environment and under stress.
Cat Bayun® tablets belong to the IV hazard class according to GOST 12.1.007, do not have cumulative, embryotoxic, teratogenic properties.
Indications
Cat Bayun® tablets are used, starting from 10 months of age, to correct the behavior of cats and dogs: aggression (towards the owner; associated with the struggle for dominance or due to fear), phobias (fear of noise; fear of parting; fear and excitement before exhibitions and during transportation), violations of sexual behavior (sexual aggression; imitation of covering; cries of cats during sexual hunt; excessive anxiety with false puppies, tagging in the apartment), hyperactivity, unreasonable constant barking, obsessive licking, coprophagia.
Doses and method of administration
The drug is administered orally 3-4 times a day 20 minutes before feeding or 1 hour after feeding for 5-7 days monthly in the following doses: cats – 2 tablets, dogs – 3-4 tablets per dose.
Side effects
There are no side effects and complications when using the drug in accordance with the instructions. There is no information on the incompatibility of the drug Cat Bayun® tablets with other drugs.
Contraindications
No contraindications have been identified for the entire period of industrial production.
